When Emma found out about her pregnancy she had already reached level 5 in the writing and painting skills.
For the young Sims couple expecting a child was a wonderful gift.
Parker immediately started talking to the baby. It should know who his daddy was.
Emma read every book about birth available to her …
… only to find out that nothing could have prepared her for this life changing experience!
Emma would never forget the moment she held Amélie in her arms for the very first time!
Emma knew what she wanted to achieve in life. She wanted to start a family and become an Illustrious Author. Consequently, Emma needed a suitable husband. In his teenage years Parker Langerak was known to be a heart breaker. That was until he had a life changing encounter.
When Parker and Emma met they immediately felt drawn to each other. And it didn’t take long for them to understand that they completed each other perfectly.
Their first date was at the Summer Festival. And Emma was delighted to see that they not only shared the love for vintage clothing but also the fondness for cakes!
Love is when you don’t have to worry about how you look when meeting your significant other…
Their wedding reception was simple, and yet it lacked nothing!
Parker didn’t forget about what his aunt had done for his wife and that she was the one who introduced them to each other. So he got her a little present…
When you move to a new place you want to meet someone like Zelda Mae. She made Emma feel at home in Sunset Valley almost immediately.
They met in the “Fellowship of Believing Sims Church”, the first place Emma visited.
After the service Zelda greeted Emma, who she had never seen in church before. Emma said that she was new in town and didn’t know anyone. Zelda, who once was known for her immature behavior, knew how important relationships were to get your life in the right direction. So she took Emma under her wings.
She showed Emma around Sunset Valley and helped her to get better payed in her job.
When Emma told Zelda that she was part English part French, Zelda wanted to give Emma a taste of home and invited her in to a French restaurant.
Last but not least Zelda introduced Emma to her nephew Parker Langerak.
Simpishly created this Sims 3 legacy style challenge. The main idea is to fulfill a Lifetime Wish in each generation that you haven’t done before. Each generation focuses on another Expansion Pack.
Meet my ts3 young adult version of Emma Vaillant:
Her Lifetime Wish is to become an Illustrious Author.
Her traits are: Artistic, Genius, Neat, Good sense of humor and Family-oriented.
And this is her starter home:
Emma’s face tells it all. The game spawned her on a lot her parents usually visit without her.
It was karaoke night. And the other half of the group preferred to visit the Spice Festival. Salvo and Eve Marino are old friends of Corentin. Salvo knows of Corentin’s past as a secret agent. Violet doesn’t. It was Salvo who introduced Corentin to the film industry – the very place where Violet and Eve met as children. Though they wanted to be friends their mothers forbade it. But things have changed since then. Corentin couldn’t help but notice that his trusted friend showed a special interest in Violet. (Salvo had called Violet several times and asked her out for dinner. She politely declined every single time.) Emma had a blast.
Corentin went to work on a new musical called “Simming in the rain”.
Emma got a new hair cut.
Violet had a doctor’s appointment.
She also received a Starlight Accolade Award for her first book. It was a humorous book about her life so far.
It was the second year les Vaillants went to Granite Falls for a winter vacation. Like last year they got homesick immediately.
Violet and Emma went straight to bed as if to say: “Wake us up when it’s time to go home!”. Even when it’s dark in the first picture, when they arrived, it wasn’t time for bed! Funny enough, they chose the same room as last year.
This year too, they were accompanied by Violet’s niece Sara and her family. At the age of 2, Sara had to endure quite some changes since last year. Her mother betrayed her adoptive father with not one but two other Sims and they divorced. Sofia left her and her baby brother Florian behind. Anton, her adoptive father, married again and now Emma’s best friend Justin is Sara’s stepbrother.
Martina, Sara’s new stepmother and Justin’s adoptive mother (it’s complicated enough for now ;D), was no stranger to Corentin and Violet. They were friends before Anton and Martina met. Both Sims were dear to Violet and Corentin.
Once Corentin was known as the “vegetarian” vampire Caleb Vatore. He witnessed Violet finally breaking free from her past. It was quite a sight! The moment he saw her, he was drawn to her. And I wanted to give them a chance. Since I don’t play with vampires, this meant Caleb was in for a makeover!
Features like Caleb’s cheekbones, his brown hair in combination with grey eyes and his statue reminded me of Alain Delon. So Corentin became French. Pictures of Alain Delon also gave me hints of how Corentin would dress.
I didn’t want to erase Corentin’s past as Caleb. So I came up with the idea that Corentin was a secret agent and Caleb Vatore his undercover identity. I figured out that it made sense for him to use his real initials when going undercover. So I looked for French names with C and V and liked Corentin Vaillant the most.
He introduced himself to Violet under his real name and stopped working as a secret agent when they were married. He didn’t want to endanger the bliss he found with Violet and never was so happy with a decision when Emma was born. Since then he worked as a vet but he needed more action in his life. Meeting an old friend, who knew his secret past, gave him the opportunity to act in an action series. So far he loves it.
Corentin is as charming as he is loyal to his wife, family, friends, employers or country.
He likes to help other’s in need whether they are human or animals. (His first date with Violet turned into a mission to rescue a cat. That cat “Chips” lives with them to this date.)
In his free time he likes to paint, keep the bees and garden.
He moved Violet from the city, because he prefers the country life.
To introduce my Sims to you I came up with the category “CAS Stories”. Here you will find my thoughts behind my Sims’ looks and characteristics.
I initially created Violet because I wanted to use the hair style (left picture) from the bowling night stuff pack. Until then no one of my Sims had the right face shape for that hair style. When I came across a picture of young Elizabeth Taylor everything became easy. The dark hair, the purple eyes, the fair complexion, the curvy body and the vintage style are inspired by her. Since I didn’t want a Sim version of Elizabeth Taylor I named her Violet Glamour. I uploaded her on the gallery and did not plan on actually playing her.
Like Liz Violet is English and was introduced to the film industry as a child. She lacked special talent but had the looks. Her parents were highly disappointed. Somehow, it is ironic that once she escaped her parents’ toxic influence she was discovered as a comedian. (And she reached the highest level of the comedy career!)
The only warmth she got in her childhood was from her younger brother Jan. Sadly, she had to witness him and other close friends of her dying in a terrible accident. Thankfully, Jan’s daughter Sara, born on the same day as Violet’s daughter Emma, is still in her life. Besides her husband Corentin, the girls helped Violet to deal with the loss.
She is a loyal, caring Sim that sticks to her convictions especially when it’s hard. For example, at the age of 21 she met Victor Feng, who was married then. Although there was something going on between them from the beginning she didn’t give in her feelings until he was divorced. (She wasn’t the reason for the divorce.) Victor was her first husband. He and her second husband died before they even could go on honeymoon, which gave her the reputation of a gold digger.
She loves animals, prefers tea to coffee and has a taste for luxury.
